Movie Freaks 365 opened its doors approximately two months ago. Since then we have seen a tremendous amount of growth in both our number of viewers (of course starting at zero helps) and also in the amount of content. We so far have posted 64 reviews in that two months time frame.
While we are pleased with our progress so far, we would like to see a steady stream of new content on a weekly (preferably daily) basis in the form of news and reviews. Right now, however, we have no staff to assist with this. That is why today I am looking to fill a couple key positions:
News Editor: Responsibilities include gathering, reporting on and editing news stories. This position is expected to be one of the more time intensive as we would like to see daily updates. If this position interests you, scroll down further to find out how to apply.
Review Writer: Another key position that we are looking to fill is that of review writer. Obviously this is the most crucial position to have on a website that is primarily focused on providing movie impressions. If you have always wanted to be a critic or whether you just love writing, this is your chance to gain some experience. Keep in mind that we will only accept professional and high quality writers.
Other things to keep in mind: all positions on Movie Freaks 365 are voluntary. You will not get paid monetarily, but you may receive review copies and you certainly can use this experience toward future jobs as well as on your resume. Also keep in mind that all content submitted for news or reviews becomes the property of Movie Freaks 365 and may not be posted anywhere else. The reason for this is simple: we do not want to be accused of violating copyright laws because you take the content you write elsewhere. The copyright to all material on this site belongs to Movie Freaks 365 and its owner, no one else.
If you are interested in applying for one (or both) of the positions above, please send an e-mail expressing your interest to kyle.bell@[REMOVETHIS]gamefreaks365.com with your name, age, state, major or profession, what position you are interested and a way to contact you through AIM, Yahoo or MSN. Please also submit a sample news article or movie review.
